FitzChivalry Farseer: The Owner's Guide and Maintenance Manual

*** CONGRATULATIONS! ***
You are now the proud owner of a FitzChivalry , certified assassin and outstanding member of the Farseer dynasty! Follow the guidelines in this manual and you will enjoy your FITZ and his extraordinary skill(s) for years to come.

INSTALLATION

When you receive your FITZ , make sure that the box is settled in a vertical position before you unwrap him. If your FITZ is accidentally activated in a horizontal position* he might experience flashbacks to a previous period of animated suspension. This can cause severe malfunctions, including catatonia and extremely feral behaviour**. Your FITZ should arrive fully assembled and powered up. Please check that you have all his accessories (see below) . FITZ units are prone to experience stress and discomfort when they first join a new household. You can alleviate his suffering by unpacking him in a environment suited to his nature. A stable or the middle of nowhere would be appropriate locations. Avoid dungeons and wintry military buildings.

Accessories:
a) complementary NIGHTEYES unit
b) battle-axe
c) herbs (poisonous)
d) knife and dagger set
e) 1 drop-shaped blue earring
f) tunic with 12 secret pockets
g) leggings
h) soft leather boots
i) cloak
j) golden pin
k) 1 complete court outfit
l) a year's supply of elfbark
m) 6 carris seeds (use with caution)

*Once activated you can use your FITZ in any position you like.
** Warning: never approach a FITZ unit in 'Feral' mode. Leave large amounts of elfbark tea in the vicinity of your unit. Wait until FITZ has consumed the tea and becomes sluggish. Use a hard object to knock him out cold and reset his mode to 'Friendly'. Do not worry about damaging your model, FITZ's scull has been designed to withstand all but the most severe beatings.
